In this 2-day workshop for floral lovers, serious students, and floral designers, Kiana and Nathan will be teaching with a focus on creating the perfect wedding centerpiece, statement piece, hand-tied bouquet, and floral installation. In coordination with The Lake Como Wedding Planner, students will have the opportunity to participate in creating a beautiful wedding tablescape on Day 2.

One of the top wedding and fashion photographers in the world - Greg Finck - will be photographing the workshop and all students will receive copies of the images for their portfolio.

Class will be held at the beautiful Villa Balbiano. Class size is limited, as appropriate social distancing will be necessary to ensure compliance with Italian law.

All participants will have the opportunity for Kiana to personally work with them to create the perfect old-world style floral designs, as well as to ask questions about running a floral design business, promoting your brand on social media, and capturing your creations with amazing photography. 

Dates: Wednesday-Thursday, 21-22 October, 2020

Location: Villa Balbiano

Investment: €1,900.00. Participants may secure their spot with a €500 deposit, with the balance due by 15 October, 2020. Once you have signed up, bank wire information will be sent to you for the deposit payment in EUR. If the workshop has to be canceled due to government restrictions (travel, quarantine, lockdown, etc.) related to COVID-19, payments will be refunded.

All materials/supplies, a selection of premium florals, lunch both days, and a farewell dinner are included. The designs you create are yours to keep, and photos for your portfolio will be available approximately 6-8 weeks after the workshop.

Travel and accommodations are not included and are the responsibility of each guest.

COVID-19 Information: Given the ongoing pandemic, we will be adhering to all Italian legal and health requirements regarding social distancing, including mask/facial covering use when social distancing isn’t possible and any time an indoor activity must take place. The workshop will be held inside, and participants will be working 2m apart. However, there group activities where distancing may not be possible.

For US citizens, the current (as of 7 October, 2020) regulations state that you may enter Italy for proven reasons of work for up to 120 hours without the need to isolate/quarantine. You must fill out a self-declaration, and we recommend taking a COVID-19 test immediately prior to travel and having the (negative) results available.
