Unique Vessels: Navajo Pottery

It is always so fun to bring something back from a place you have visited. When we were on our road trip to Texas a few weeks ago, we stopped in New Mexico to check out some Navajo art at one of the many roadside locations. I have to admit, I was quite taken with the Navajo pottery. Such beautiful and detailed work. We purchased two of our favorites, and finally got a chance to fill them with flowers the other day. True works of art! I generally don't choose my vase/vessel before I get my flowers, rather, I get flowers and then choose an appropriate vase. However, in this case, I must admit that I picked these flowers specifically for these vases, and I am quite happy with the way the arrangements turned out!
