Unique Vessels: Italian Coffee Maker

This type of espresso/coffee maker was my best friend when I was a student in Italy. Put water and coffee in it, put it on the stove, and the water is forced up through the coffee - making a delicious cup or two. I thought that combining my love of the coffee maker and flowers would be the perfect combination for the series I have finally formalized - Unique Vessels. Note: If you don't want to put flowers in it - I highly recommend Lavazza brand coffee.

Normally you would put water in the bottom portion of this coffee maker, but for flower arranging purposes, I put water in the top part and began arranging my flowers. I started with the sweet peas - you can choose any flowers that you like and have access to of course tulipina.com / Kiana Underwood

The veronicas add a nice contrast to the rest of the flowers both in shape and color - after all it wouldn't my kind of arrangement without a bit of asymmetry! tulipina.com / Kiana Underwood
