St. Patty's Day Trio

I don't usually post anything on Sundays; however, St. Patrick's Day sort of sprung up on me this year. March has been a very busy month so far, and the days have flown by. I put together a really quick centerpiece trio in anticipation of our dinner table on Monday and I wanted to share it with you. For more St. Patty's inspiration, please check out what I did last year! I wish you all a wonderful Sunday and a very fun St. Patrick's day!

Shamrock (oxalis) is one of my favorite plants, so I mixed some of that with this lovely greenish hydrangea from my garden, pieris, and a few white ranunculus. Kiana Underwood / tulipina.com | Photography: N.R. Underwood / nruphoto.com

St. Patrick's Day Beer Bottle DIY

St. Patrick's Day is one of my favorite holidays, not because I am Irish, but because I love many things Irish (such as Liam Neeson, Irish coffee, and Guinness) and of course, corned beef and cabbage! So, I decided to do a simple little beer bottle floral DIY for those of you who like to have fresh flowers in your home or for a dinner party. Note: Beer consumption is necessary during the preparation phase. Enjoy.

Here is what you'll need:

a. Canterbury bells* b. Anemone* c. Star of Bethlehem* d. Shamrock plant

* Or any other white flower

I tried to choose beer bottles that had some variety of color, shape, and size to create an eclectic design. Start by placing your greens (cut Shamrock plant) in each bottle, and then add your variety of white flowers until you have achieved the desired fill.
