Humans with Bouquets: Angie

As you all might have figured out by now, Humans with Bouquets is a series where I feature people who I know and care for deeply, or those who I admire (sometimes from afar). Today's human holds a special place in my heart - my good friend Angie has been a loyal friend since the very beginning of my blogging endeavor. She is a photographer (and an excellent one at that), and I am fortunate that she has photographed many of my projects over the last year and a half. She is always willing to shoot, and her vision makes me better every time we work on something.

Angie's husband recently gifted her with this very cool Ural Tourist motorcycle with sidecar, so when we planned this photo shoot, we knew that the motorcycle had to be a part of it. After all, what's better than a hot biker babe holding a beautiful bouquet with a sidecar full of rhododendron?!

Thank you for being my "human" Angie - you are a great addition to this series!

Rhododendron is absolutely amazing this time of year and blooming in all sorts of colorful variety, so I filled the sidecar with it for a massive pop of color. Kiana Underwood / tulipina.com | Photography: N.R. Underwood / nruphoto.com

The Magic of Spring

Spring is here and the possibilities are infinite!! Rhododendron is really at its best this time of year - so lush and beautiful. When I saw this particular shade at the flower mart I picked it up right away. I wanted to make a really happy arrangement that would brighten any space, so I mixed it with some peonies, ranunculus, and columbine from my garden. This lovely combination makes for a true spring garden arrangement.

Flowers: pepper, peony, rhododendron, ranunculus, veronica, columbine
