Flowers: Le Jardin

I have this poster of veggies (Le Jardin) that I picked up from a book store in the Mission for 5 bucks; I just love everything about it. Last week I used it as an inspiration for my color palette for the arrangements bellow. I was quite happy with how they turned out. The flowers, and especially the roses and the Japanese anemones are out of this world and add such depth to the designs. Flowers: rose, hydrangea, japanese anemone, longan (the brown tropical fruit on the left ), coleus, maidenhair, foxglove, coral bells Flowers by Kiana Underwood / tulipina.com | Photography: Nathan Underwood / nruphoto.com

Impromptu

Hooray for Friday everyone! This was a crazy busy week for me, so I sure am glad it is over. When I got back from my recent road trip, I made this impromptu arrangement with everything I had in my garden. I am a sucker for variety, and the more elements I can incorporate into my arrangements the happier I am. I have to admit, it is one of my favorites.

Flowers: garden rose, hydrangea, naked lady, geranium, foxglove, cone flower, rosemary, cherry tomato, grape, ginko, coleus Kiana Underwood / tulipina.com | Photography: Nathan Underwood / nruphoto.com
