Impromptu

Hooray for Friday everyone! This was a crazy busy week for me, so I sure am glad it is over. When I got back from my recent road trip, I made this impromptu arrangement with everything I had in my garden. I am a sucker for variety, and the more elements I can incorporate into my arrangements the happier I am. I have to admit, it is one of my favorites.

Flowers: garden rose, hydrangea, naked lady, geranium, foxglove, cone flower, rosemary, cherry tomato, grape, ginko, coleus Kiana Underwood / tulipina.com | Photography: Nathan Underwood / nruphoto.com

Autumn Dinner Party

In San Francisco, autumn, and September and October in particular, are months that we might be lucky enough to have a warm "summer" night. Last year in the fall I did the flowers for a dinner inspiration party at a residence in San Francisco that turned out quite lovely. I thought I would share some of the photos with all of you. Thanks in particular to Angie Cao, whose photography captured the flowers, food, and scenes in such an amazing way.

Three Ingredient Beauty

This is another quick and easy DIY using items from the garden (or from around the neighborhood - if your neighbors are friendly and don't mind a little clipping here and there). Putting together something simple doesn't mean that it can't be beautiful. tulipina.com / Kiana Underwood
