As some of you know, I was recently in London. I would be lying if I told you I wasn't super excited about this particular feature today! Everything about this shoot was an amazing experience - from the moment I asked Will Taylor to be one of my humans, to the day I visited the New Covent Garden Market to buy flowers, through to the day that I photographed him on the bank of the Thames in beautiful London.
For those of you who aren't familiar with Will, you soon will be, as his book Bright Bazaar: Embracing Color for Make-You-Smile Style is about to be released (April 29 in the US) and it is going to explode your mind. He is also a freelance designer, and the founder and editor of the wonderful interior design and color blog Bright.Bazaar. If you haven't guessed it yet, and couldn't tell from these photos, Will is all about color.
If you'd like to meet Will, he is going to be in Los Angeles and New York for book signings in May. Please check his blog for details!
In my opinion (and clearly many others), Will's taste and style are immaculate, but what has endeared him to me most is the kind, humble, and wonderful person that he is. It is a pleasure to have you on my blog Will - thank you for participiating in my series and for a great day in London. You certainly have brought color and happiness to Humans with Bouquets!
The beauty of buying flowers in Europe in spring is that these amazing ranunculi were abundant and coming straight over from Holland.
To me, this is the essence of who Will is - bright, happy and positive!
A stylish young Brit + beautiful flowers + Big Ben - could there be a better combo?
Can you tell Will is a natural at this? I didn't have to tell him how to pose at all - all I did was snap away - and, of course, wound up with lots of favorite photos to share!
