Poppies Popping with Color DIY

Poppies are blooming all over the place right now. In the San Francisco Bay Area, we are used to seeing the California poppy, but poppies have fantastic variety in color, size, and texture outside of our state flower's standard yellow/orange hue. In this DIY, we combine a beautiful variety of wild poppies, some grevillea for additional texture, and some very simple colored plastic picnic cups. This is a great arrangement for an outdoor party, picnic, or inside on the fireplace mantle or kitchen window sill (where mine ended up). Note: These will last about a week, and all of the buds will generally open.

Experiment with color, embrace texture, and dive on in!
