Humans with Bouquets: Sam

I asked my friend Sam to stop by this past weekend for an hour or two as I really wanted her as my "human" for this week. Not only is she tall and beautiful, but she was a great sport and brought this lovely blue dress that you see in the shots - I couldn't have been happier with how it turned out! The cooler weather gives ornamental kale the most amazing color. I noticed their incredible beauty when I was at the flower mart the other day and I decided to make them the star of this bouquet. I mean, they might as well be roses!!

I have been wanting to use flowering maple in a bouquet for some time now, since it is blooming around the neighborhood, I took the opportunity. They are so delicate, and the bell shaped flowers add nicely to this bouquet.

Flowers: amaranthus, ornamental kale, lisianthus, carnation, queen anne's lace, flowering maple, lilac, ranunculus, hellebore, eucalyptus
