Autumn Color Series: Green

Green is another color that is readily available in a lot of different shades and textures at the flower mart in autumn (and all year long). Whenever olive branches are available, I'm the number one customer, as I love them. Olive branches combined with the beautiful green carnations and roses make for a very green, but beautiful arrangement. You could use an arrangement like this for a St. Patrick's day party too! Note: Neither blue nor green are my favorite primary colors for design, but I wanted to include them in this color series so that you could get a sense for what is possible.

And finally, add the lotus so that it does not get lost with the rest of the greens. These have such an interesting shape and texture, don't they? Kiana Underwood / tulipina.com
